La Universidad Popular de San Mateo continúa con programando cursos para ampliar su oferta formativa. Así, el próximo 2016 se celebrarán dos nuevos cursos, uno de fruticultura (agricultura ecológica) y otro de cocina asiática.
El curso de fruticultura se impartirá los martes y jueves de los meses de enero, febrero y marzo y las clases tendrán una duración de dos horas y media. La matrícula para este curso tendrá un coste de 30 euros al mes (+ 7 € sólo el primer mes), teniendo un descuento para estudiantes y desempleados, que deberán pagar 20 euros al mes. El curso dispondrá de parte teórica, que se impartirá en el local de la asociación de vecinos Vega de Tinamar y parte práctica, que se realizará en una finca para prácticas agrícolas.
Por otro lado, el curso de cocina asiática permitirá a los alumnos adquirir los conocimientos necesarios para la elaboración de platos de cocina china, vietnamita, tailandesa, japonesa… (salteados, arroces o sushi, por ejemplo). El curso se impartirá los jueves de enero y febrero, teniendo las clases una duración de tres horas, y el coste de matrícula será de 40 euros mensuales (ingredientes incluidos).
