El espacio, presentado por Willy Rodríguez, venía emitiéndose con una periodicidad semanal en horario nocturno por la Televisión Autonómica Canaria, y con una escasa duración de treinta minutos hacía un repaso a la actualidad luchística de las islas. Sin embargo, poco ha durado la alegría a los aficionados al que llaman el deporte vernáculo, puesto que según informaciones extraoficiales, y no tiene ninguna pinta de inocentada, el ente público ha decidido que el programa no forme parte de su parrilla de programación para el próximo 2.016.
La lucha canaria continúa así inmersa en el profundo abandono del que ha sido objeto por parte de las instituciones insulares y regionales en los últimos años. Un abandono que está condenando a nuestro deporte a una, parece, irremediable desaparición.
