Febrero dejó más de 140 litros de agua en San Mateo

IMG 20160229 WA0023Las precipitaciones caídas en San Mateo durante el mes de febrero dejaron más de 140 litros de agua por metro cuadrado en el municipio.

Si bien a principios de mes la ausencia de lluvias comenzaba a preocupar a los agricultores, que temían que el invierno continuara igual de cálido que había empezado y que la sequía afectara a los cultivos, a mediados de febrero la climatología dio un giro que provocó el descenso de las temperaturas y la caída de precipitaciones que, en sólo tres días, descargaron casi 100 litros de agua en La Vega y que en las zonas altas del municipio cayeron en forma de nieve. Unas precipitaciones que volvieron este fin de semana y que sólo en la jornada de ayer domingo dejaron en torno a 40 litros en el casco de San Mateo.

Las lluvias, recibidas como agua de mayo por los trabajadores del campo, darán paso esta semana a un aumento de las temperaturas máximas, que podrían alcanzar los 21 grados en la jornada del miércoles.
