San Mateo prepara más de 600 kg de comida para el escaldón de gofio del sábado

chicharrones con gofioLa Vega de San Mateo se encuentra inmersa esta semana en la preparación de los diferentes eventos que se celebrarán este fin de semana en el municipio con motivo de la V Feria Institucional de Productos de la Tierra.

Entre las diferentes acciones de apoyo a la feria, el sábado a mediodía se celebrará una comida popular con un gran escaldón de gofio con chicharrones como plato estrella.

Para ello el Ayuntamiento ha adquirido ya 300 kg de gofio, 200 kg de carne, 100 kg de cilantro y 40 de ajo, ingredientes que se pondrán al fuego el sábado durante la actuación musical de Los Gofiones y Los Sabandeños, a cuyo término los asistentes podrán disfrutar de la gran comida.
