La Vega de San Mateo se prepara ya para celebrar las Fiestas en honor a Nuestra Señora de Fátima, unas fiestas cargadas de devoción que cada año cuentan con una gran participación.
La confección de alfombras por las calles del Casco, las Eucaristías y las posteriores Procesiones serán un año más lugar de encuentro de centenares de personas.
Los vecinos de la calle La Palma serán como cada año los primeros en salir a la calle para confeccionar las tradicionales alfombras que formarán parte del recorrido de la primera de las procesiones, que comprenderá las calles Principal, Del Agua, Carretera a Valsequillo, Cuesta del Majorero, La Palma, Cifuentes, Trasera de la Iglesia y Párroco Antonio Gil.
Las fiestas darán comienzo el 8 de mayo y se prolongarán hasta el día 15.
