El socialista Gonzalo Rosario, nuevo alcalde de Teror

GRUPO GOBIERNO TERORE–l Pleno de la Corporación municipal de Teror nombró ayer al socialista Gonzalo Rosario Ramos nuevo alcalde del municipio, tras prosperar este sábado 9 de julio la Moción de Censura presentada por el PP y PSOE a la ex alcaldesa de NC, Isabel Guerra. La sesión, que se desarrolló en un salón de actos de la Casa Consistorial abarrotado de público, transcurrió durante dos horas y cuarto con las intervenciones de los distintos partidos políticos, votando a favor de la moción y del nuevo alcalde los 12 ediles del PSOE y PP; en contra los dos concejales de Nueva Canarias, el concejal de Coalición Canaria y el de Sí Se Puede; y la abstención de la edil de Alternativa por Teror.

En el discurso de toma de posesión de la Alcaldía, Gonzalo Rosario insistió en que este nuevo Gobierno que se conforma tendrá un talante de “consenso, diálogo y transparencia”. “Han llegado nuevos tiempos a la política, – manifestó- y se precisa de talante, diálogo y transparencia, mucha transparencia. Hay que actuar por consenso, y no por caprichos y antojos personalistas. La ciudadanía ha elegido no dar mayorías absolutas a los Gobiernos y exigen que las diferencias ideológicas no sean excluyentes, sino integradoras. Que sean transversales para el reto principal de la Política, que no es otro que lograr que la sociedad se desarrolle y que los ciudadanos alcancen sus objetivos, inquietudes y en definitiva, la mayor felicidad”.” No será tarea fácil conseguirlo, por supuesto. Pero afronto este reto con la mayor de las ilusiones, y con la total seguridad de que cumpliremos los objetivos que nos proponemos el nuevo Grupo de Gobierno municipal” afirmó, poniendo especial énfasis en que “seré el alcalde de todos y todas las terorenses”.  

La Moción de Censura se inició a las 12 del mediodía con la constitución de la Mesa de Edad, que estuvo formada por la concejala de mayor edad, Chicha González (AxT) y de menor edad, Vanesa Cabrera (PSOE), tras lo cual se procedió a dar lectura a la moción de censura por parte de la Mesa de Edad.

A continuación, tomó la palabra el candidato a alcalde, Gonzalo Rosario Ramos, propuesto por la moción, explicando los motivos de la moción.

Posteriormente se habló la aún alcaldesa Isabel Guerra, defendiendo su gestión contra la actuación de los grupos censurantes, y seguidamente intervinieron los/as portavoces de los grupos municipales en el siguiente orden: Alternativa por Teror, Sí se Puede, Coalición Canaria, Partido Popular, Nueva Canarias y Partido Socialista.

Concluida la intervención de los grupos, se efectuó el llamamiento nominal de los concejales, que depositaron su voto en la urna, los 6 ediles del PSOE y los 6 ediles del PP a favor, mientras que el resto votó en contra, excepto AxT que se abstuvo.

El pleno se cerró con la toma de posesión del nuevo alcalde, Gonzalo Rosario, y las palabras del Primer edil, que transmitió su agradecimiento y explicó cuales serán los objetivos del nuevo Gobierno municipal del “Pacto de las Mayorías”.
