La Exposición Colectiva de Artistas de San Mateo es uno de los actos culturales más importantes que se organizan en las fiestas patronales en honor a San Mateo, y será inaugurada el próximo viernes 15 de septiembre en La Caldereta Sala de Exposiciones, en el casco histórico municipal.
La puesta en marcha de este importante acto cultural permite observar las diferentes corrientes artísticas de los creadores locales que participan en la muestra este año, entre las que destacan los óleos, acrílicos, escultura, etc.
El acto inaugural estará acompañado por los artistas participantes y todas aquellas personas que quieran acercarse. Cerca de la veintena de artistas serán los que participen en esta nueva edición de la exposición más esperada del año.
Además, el momento de la apertura de la exposición será aprovechado para inaugurar y presentar de forma oficial el busto cedido por la familia del veguero Antonio Cabrera Marrero, que estará expuesto en La Caldereta de forma permanente. El acto estará acompañado por el nieto del artista y otros familiares.
La exposición colectiva de artistas, con una larga trayectoria a sus espaldas, es una de las exposiciones anuales programadas en este espacio cultural y uno de los actos cumbre y más importantes que la Concejalía de Cultura y Patrimonio Histórico de la Corporación municipal organiza dentro de su calendario anual.
“Esta exposición representa las tendencias actuales y trabajos inéditos y recientes, de una elevada calidad artística, lo que es un escaparate de la cultura y el arte local e insular”, argumenta Iluminada Santana Santana, Concejala delegada en Cultura.
La Concejalía de Cultura y Patrimonio Histórico se congratula de llevar a cabo esta actividad ya que es una de las más importantes y esperadas del calendario cultural municipal. Desde la Concejalía también se invita a todos los colectivos y asociaciones culturales, vecinos y vecinas de La Vega, y demás personas interesadas en el mundo del arte, a que se acerquen y disfruten de esta muestra que estará expuesta en La Caldereta Sala de Exposiciones desde el viernes día 15 de septiembre hasta el próximo sábado 1 de octubre, con el horario siguiente: de martes a viernes de 9:00 a 14:30 horas y de 18:00 a 20:00 horas, y sábados de 9:00 a 14:30 horas, permaneciendo domingos, lunes, y festivos cerrada.
