Vecinos del Casco solicitan que se regule el sonido de las campanas de la Iglesia

Campanario Iglesia San MateoUn grupo de vecinos del Casco de San Mateo ha entregado en el Ayuntamiento de La Vega una solicitud para que se regule el sonido de las campanas de la Iglesia.

En el escrito presentado por los vecinos se hace constar que las últimas modificaciones realizadas en el campanario de la Iglesia han supuesto un cambio notable en la melodía y en la intensidad del sonido, lo que se ha tornado “en un ruido molesto”, especialmente en días y horas de descanso. Consultados por este medio, varios vecinos de la zona han coincidido en asegurar que “las campanas suenan con más intensidad que antes”, y que quienes más lo sufren son los vecinos más cercanos a la Iglesia. Por estos motivos, los vecinos han solicitado que se regule el sonido de las campanas de acuerdo a la normativa vigente sobre el ruido, así como que se impida el sonido del reloj en horario nocturno.

En atención a esta solicitud y según ha podido saber este medio, el Ayuntamiento de San Mateo se encuentra estudiando las diferentes posibilidades para solventar este asunto, sin que por el momento se conozcan las medidas que se podrán tomar al respecto.
