Accesos
La nevada que ha vuelto a teñir la cumbre de blanco ha obligado al cierre de varias carreteras, algunas de las cuales han quedado abiertas a lo largo de la mañana, mientras que en otras se trabaja para retirar ramas, piedras y troncos. Sólo trabajadores y vecinos pueden acceder a las zonas altas de San Mateo, así como a Tejeda, Artenara y Valleseco. Pueden hacerlo por la GC-15 (Las Lagunetas), la GC-150 (Cruz de Tejeda a Pinos de Gáldar) y la GC-21 (Artenara a Valleseco). Por otro lado, el Cabildo ya ha anunciado que el circuito central de entrada por Cruz de Tejeda y salida por Ayacata y Cueva Grande se mantendrá cerrado hoy, por lo que los visitantes no podrán acceder a la cumbre hoy tampoco.
Rescates
Desde el Cabildo se insiste en pedir a la población que no accedan a la Cumbre, a la vez que recuerdan que las condiciones tanto climatológicas como de las carreteras entrañan numerosos riesgos para la seguridad. Tanto es así que varias personas han tenido que ser rescatadas en las últimas horas. En este sentido, anoche la Guardia Civil rescató a cuatro personas cuyo vehículo se había salido de la vía y se había parado. Los ocupantes fueron trasladados a la Cruz de Tejeda. De igual forma, este mediodía dos personas, una de ellas provista de una muleta, tuvieron que ser rescatadas del Pico de Las Nieves, que se encontraba a -1º, con fuertes rachas de viento y donde continuaba nevando en el momento del rescate.
Desprendimientos
Muros, piedras, ramas, árboles… El viento y la lluvia han provocado todo tipo de desprendimientos en diferentes zonas de las Medianías, especialmente en San Mateo, donde operarios municipales e insulares han estado trabajando toda la mañana para despejar las vías y permitir el tráfico seguro y correcto de los vehículos. En esta misma línea se recuerda a los conductores la necesidad de extremar la precaución al volante, dado que se podrían seguir produciendo desprendimientos, especialmente en zonas de Medianías.
Servicio de transportes
El servicio de las líneas de transporte 305 y 220 de la Compañía Global, que había sido suspendido esta mañana debido al mal estado de las carreteras, ha sido restablecido a las 13:00 horas.
Previsiones
Las previsiones de la AEMET para las próximas horas descartan que vuelva a nevar (lo hizo hasta mediodía de este jueves), y contemplan que seguirá lloviendo así como produciéndose fuertes rachas de viento.
