Una vez más y como ocurre en otros municipios de la isla, se unen la falta de civismo de la sociedad con el mal funcionamiento del servicio de limpieza, y es que según denuncian los vecinos desde hace meses los trastos viejos se acumulan junto a los contenedores ubicados en la zona de El Pilón. Colchones, restos de muebles, sacos de escombros, restos de podas… una infinidad de basura que deja a pie de carretera una desagradable estampa que se prolonga en el tiempo ante la pasividad del servicio de limpieza de Santa Brígida.
